Car with driver or self-drive: which one suits you?

With a driver

Best if you don’t know the roads, carry lots of luggage, or want to rest between stops. Driver and fuel are usually included.

Self-drive

More flexible if you are used to Indonesian traffic. You will need ID, a valid licence, and a deposit.

For international visitors

Most overseas travellers choose a car with a driver because of local traffic and rules.
